Spray Foam Insulation
Spray foam insulation is a spray-applied material that is used to insulate and seal cracks and gaps, making buildings more energy-efficient and comfortable. It resists heat transfer extremely well, and reduces unwanted air infiltration through cracks, seams, and joints. There are two main types of spray foam insulation: Open Cell & Closed Cell.
Open cell spray foam has a lower R-Value of 3.5 to 4. It is more flexible and is ideal for hard to reach areas. It also expands almost 100x more than its size when applied and is more cost effective.
Closed cell spray foam has a higher R-Value of 7. It provides structural support when installed and is super energy-efficient with proven energy savings of up to 50%.
Benefits
Significant cooling and heating savings
Eco friendly
Improved air quality
Adds major sound reduction
Prevents mold and mildew
Reduce of intruding dust, pollen and pests
Fiberglass Batt Insulation
This is the most common form of home insulation. Fiberglass batt insulation comes in varying thicknesses to account for different needed R-Values. It is the least expensive way to insulate a home.
Benefits
Budget-friendly
Easy to install
Increases energy efficiency
Eco friendly
Adds sound reduction
Mold and mildew resistant
Blown-In Fiberglass Insulation
Blown in fiberglass insulation is batt insulation cut into loose pieces to be blown into wall studs and ceiling joists. It offers an average R-2.5 thermal value per inch. The material is delivered through a hose directly to the spaces to be covered which makes this very easy to install. It is up to 22 percent more efficient than fiberglass batting with the same R-values. The blown material is more flexible, so it can seal all those hard-to-reach places and tight crevices that batting cannot.
Benefits
Budget-friendly
Quick and easy to install
Increases energy efficiency
Eco friendly
Adds sound reduction
Mold and mildew resistant
Fire Blocking Insulation
Fire blocking insulation is insulation made from basalt rock and recycled steel-making a byproduct known as slag. It creates an incredibly effective insulation with sound-absorbing and fire-resistant properties. It is installed like any batt insulation, but it can be either flexible or rigid, to match your needs.
Benefits
Fire-resistant up to 1,400° Fahrenheit.
Highly Durable
Increases energy efficiency
Eco friendly
Adds sound reduction
Greatly increases mold and mildew resistance
Sound Dampening Insulation
Sound Dampening Insulation is specially designed to absorb sound waves and reduce the transfer of noise. It is thicker and more dense than regular thermal insulation, making it an excellent choice for soundproofing your home. Sound insulation batts also provide the same thermal benefits as traditional thermal insulation. That means you get thermal regulation and sound regulation in one product.
Benefits
Major sound reduction
Improves comfort and reduces stress
Quick and easy to install
Increases energy efficiency
Eco friendly
Mold and mildew resistant
Air Sealing
Air sealing is the process of spray foaming and calking to seal all gaps, cracks and holes to prevent cold spots and improve comfort. Air sealing solves the problem of excess airflow to ensure your house has all the fresh air you need and keeps you comfortable. It also helps keep excess moisture out, protecting the overall integrity of your home.
Benefits
Evens temperatures
Reduces drafts
Increases energy efficiency
Improves air quality
Lowers energy bills
